Ludwigshafen, officially Ludwigshafen am Rhein, is a city in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate, on the river Rhine, opposite Mannheim. With Mannheim, Heidelberg, and the surrounding region, it forms the Rhine-Neckar Metropolitan Region. Wilhelm-Hack-Museum is situated 140 metres southwest of Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences.

The Pfalzbau is a convention centre located in Ludwigshafen, Germany. The building is used primarily for theatre, concerts, congresses and fairs. The auditorium has a seating capacity of 1,171 The original building opened in 1928, but destroyed in a bombing raid in 1944. Pfalzbau is situated 140 metres south of Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences.
