National Parliament House

The Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban is the Parliament house of Bangladesh, located at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in Dhaka. Initially designed for the Parliament of Pakistan by architect Louis Kahn, the complex is one of the largest legislative complexes in the world, covering 840,000 m2.

Old Dhaka is a term used to refer to the historic old city of Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. Located on the banks of the Buriganga River, it was one of the largest and most prosperous cities of the Indian subcontinent, and the center of the worldwide muslin trade.
