The British Engineerium is an engineering and steam power museum in Hove, East Sussex. It is housed in the Goldstone Pumping Station, a set of High Victorian Gothic buildings started in 1866. British Engineerium is situated 820 feet northwest of Hove Park.

The stadium also has a restaurant and a number of bars and is owned by Entain and race meetings are held every Thursday and Saturday evening, in addition to two afternoon meetings on a Wednesday and Sunday as well as a morning meeting on a Friday. Brighton & Hove Greyhound Stadium is situated 710 feet west of Hove Park.

The area grew rapidly during the inter-war period, but unlike nearby Hangleton, it had more infrastructure which were; St Peter's Church, a working farm, a windmill and an industrial area grouped around the Goldstone Pumping Station and its workers' cottages.
