The Round Church, also known as the Golden Church or the Church of St John, is a large partially preserved early medieval Eastern Orthodox church. It lies in Preslav, the former capital of the First Bulgarian Empire, today a town in northeastern Bulgaria. Round Church, Preslav is situated 3½ km southwest of ПС Велики Преслав.

Veliki Preslav is a small town in northeastern Bulgaria, not far from Shumen. It was the site of the second capital of medieval Bulgaria, and now the ruins are a national archeological reserve.

Han Krum is a village in the municipality of Preslav, Shumen Province, north-eastern Bulgaria. As of 2007 it has 408 inhabitants. Up to 1899 the village was called Chatalar and was then renamed to Tsar Krum and in 1977 to Khan Krum, after Krum who ruled Bulgaria between 803 and 814. Han Krum is situated 6 km northeast of ПС Велики Преслав.
