Prophet’s Mosque

The Prophet's Mosque is the second mosque built by the Islamic prophet Muhammad in Medina, after the Quba Mosque, as well as the second largest mosque and holiest site in Islam, after the Masjid al-Haram in Mecca, in the Saudi region of the Hejaz. Prophet’s Mosque is situated 4 km southwest of Uhod Mountain Park.

Jannat al-Baqī is the oldest and first Islamic cemetery of Medina located in the Hejazi region of present-day Saudi Arabia. It is also known as Baqi al-Gharqad. Maqbara Al Baqeea is situated 4 km south of Uhod Mountain Park.

Mount Uhud

Mount Uhud is a mountain north of Medina, in the Hejaz region of Saudi Arabia. It is 1,077 m high and 7.5 km long. It was the site of the second battle between the Islamic prophet Muhammad and the polytheists of his tribe of Quraysh. Mount Uhud is situated 2½ km north of Uhod Mountain Park.
