The Karl Marx statue is a monument located on Simeonstiftplatz in Trier. It was unveiled on May 5, 2018, to mark the 200th anniversary of Karl Marx's birth in his hometown. The work by sculptor Wu Weishan is a gift from the People's Republic of China.
