The Prophet's Mosque is the second mosque built by the Islamic prophet Muhammad in Medina, after the Quba Mosque, as well as the second largest mosque and holiest site in Islam, after the Masjid al-Haram in Mecca, in the Saudi region of the Hejaz. Prophet’s Mosque is situated 3 km west of Masjid Al Manar.

Al-Baqi Cemetery, also known as Jannat al-Baqi or Baqi al-Gharqad, is the oldest and first Islamic cemetery, located southeast of the Prophet's Mosque in Medina in the Hejaz region of Saudi Arabia. Maqbara Al Baqeea is situated 2½ km southwest of Masjid Al Manar.
