Angkor Thom
Archaeological site
Angkor Thom, alternatively Nokor Thom, located in present-day Cambodia, was the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer Empire. It was established in the late twelfth century by King Jayavarman VII. Angkor Thom is situated 660 metres north of Wat Preah Se Ametrey.

The Baphuon is a temple at Angkor, Cambodia. It is located in Angkor Thom, northwest of the Bayon. Also called "golden mountain", the Baphuon is built on an artificial hill.
Prasat Baksei Chamkrong

Baksei Chamkrong is a small Buddhist Temple located in the Angkor complex. It is dedicated to Buddha and used to hold a golden image of him. The temple can be seen on the left side when entering Angkor Thom at the southern gate. Prasat Baksei Chamkrong is situated 1¼ km south of Wat Preah Se Ametrey.
