Choeung Ek is a former orchard in Dangkao, Phnom Penh, capital of Cambodia, that was used as a Killing Field between 1975 and 1979 by the Khmer Rouge in perpetrating the Cambodian genocide. Choeung Ek is situated 1½ km south of Chab Market.
