Miguelturra is a municipality of Spain located in the province of Ciudad Real, Castilla–La Mancha. The municipality spans across a total area of 118.12 km2 and, as of 1 January 2020, it has a registered population of 15,498. Miguelturra is situated 7 km northeast of La Casa del Salmantino.

Alarcos is a small hill and archaeological site located in the Campo de Calatrava region of the Iberian Peninsula. Standing at 675 metres above mean sea level, the hill is made of quartzite rocks together with lithic components of volcanic origin, and the Guadiana river flows next to it. Alarcos is situated 7 km northwest of La Casa del Salmantino.
