Carisbrooke Castle

Carisbrooke Castle is a historic motte-and-bailey castle located above, and to the south of, Carisbrooke village centre, on the Isle of Wight, England. Charles I was imprisoned at the castle in the months prior to his trial.

The house consisting of over 7,000 square foot over 3 floors and a cellar, set in 11 acres, accessed from the A3020 roadway.A stone cottage was built in the 15th century, then the main Georgian house was built in the mid to late 18th century, built with red brick.
