It is on the Greenwich line, 3 miles 7 chains down the line from London Bridge, and has staggered platforms on the London Bridge – Greenwich Railway Viaduct, a high brick viaduct on which the line runs at this point above Deptford High Street. Deptford railway station is situated 560 feet southwest of St Paul’s.

Cutty Sark is a British clipper ship. Built on the River Leven, Dumbarton, Scotland in 1869 for the Jock Willis Shipping Line, she was one of the last tea clippers to be built and one of the fastest, at the end of a long period of design development for this type of vessel, which ended as steamships took over their routes. Cutty Sark is situated 3,600 feet east of St Paul’s.
