Hraunfossar is a series of waterfalls formed by rivulets streaming over a distance of about 900 metres out of the Hallmundarhraun, a lava field which flowed from an eruption of one of the volcanoes lying under the glacier Langjökull. Hraunfossar is situated 3 km east of Stóra-Ásskirkja.

Barnafoss, also known as Bjarnafoss, is a waterfall in Western Iceland on the river Hvítá in Borgarfjörður, about 100 kilometres from Reykjavík. Located directly upstream from Hraunfossar, the two waterfalls flow out of the Hallmundarhraun lava field. Barnafossar is situated 3 km east of Stóra-Ásskirkja.
