It is one of the two state mosques, the other being Jame' Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque. Sultan Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque is situated 320 metres northeast of Sultan Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Pedestrian Bridge.
