Amsterdam Amstel is a railway station in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The station opened in 1939. It is located to the southeast of Amsterdam Centraal in the borough of Amsterdam-Oost, near the Amstel river. Amsterdam Amstel station is situated 620 metres west of Prins Bernhardpark.

Frankendael is one of two remaining buitenplaats in Amsterdam. It comprises Huis Frankendael and the adjoining Park Frankendael in Watergraafsmeer. The house, located at Middenweg 72, is a historic country residence in Tuindorp Frankendaal. Frankendael is situated 340 metres northeast of Prins Bernhardpark.

The Watergraafsmeer is a polder in North Holland, Netherlands, reclaimed from the lake Diemermeer in 1629. In the 17th and 18th centuries, there were many buitenplaatsen in the Watergraafsmeer, though nowadays only one, Frankendael, remains.
