is a town in , , United States. The population was 2,408 at the 2020 census. is named for the celebrated British evangelist George , who inspired the colonists before the town was settled in 1770, mainly by Irish Catholics.

The area had been industrially active since the mid-18th century, but its mills declined and were all destroyed by 1949, leaving a predominantly residential area with a number of houses dating mainly to the period before 1860. is situated 3½ miles southwest of The Barn.
