Darıca is a municipality and district of Kocaeli Province, Turkey. The town was previously known as Aretsou by its native Greek population. Its area is 23 km2, and its population is 225,602. The current mayor is Muzaffer Bıyık. Darıca is situated 4 km south of KERİMİZ Demirçelik.

Çayırova is a municipality and district of Kocaeli Province, Turkey. Its area is 23 km2, and its population is 150,792. The district Çayırova was created in 2008 from part of the district of Gebze, along with the districts Darıca and Dilovası. Çayırova is situated 4½ km north of KERİMİZ Demirçelik.

Gebze is a city in Eastern Marmara, 65 km east of Istanbul. It's a sprawling industrial conurbation, with a population of 392,945 in 2020. Traditionally you came here to take the ferry from Eskihisar across the Gulf of Izmit towards Yalova and Bursa.
