It is the main church for the Fjære parish which is part of the Vest-Nedenes prosti in the Diocese of Agder og Telemark. Fjære Church is situated 200 metres east of Fjære park.

Dømmesmo Oak

The Dømmesmo Oak is a large oak tree that stands at Dømmesmoen park in Grimstad Municipality, Norway. A heavy snowfall in March 1985 broke several of the largest branches, and a New Year fireworks rocket ignited the tree around the year 2000. Dømmesmo Oak is situated 1½ km southwest of Fjære park.
