The Buttertubs Pass is a high road in the Yorkshire Dales, England. The road winds its way north from Simonstone near Hawes towards Thwaite and Muker past 20-metre-deep limestone potholes called the Buttertubs.

Hardraw Force is a waterfall on Hardraw Beck in Hardraw Scar, a wooded ravine just outside the hamlet of Hardraw, 0.9 miles north of the town of Hawes, Wensleydale, in the Yorkshire Dales.

Lovely Seat, originally known as Lunasett, is a fell in the Yorkshire Dales National Park in North Yorkshire, England. Situated at grid reference SD878950 three miles north of the town of Hawes, it is part of the high ground which separates Wensleydale from Swaledale and the highest point of Abbotside Common reaching a height of 675 metres.

Muker is a village and civil parish at the western end of Swaledale in North Yorkshire, England, within the Yorkshire Dales. The parish includes the hamlets and villages of Angram, Keld, Thwaite, West Stonesdale and Birkdale, as well as the Tan Hill Inn, the highest in England.

Hardraw is a hamlet near Hawes within the Yorkshire Dales in North Yorkshire, England. The nearby Hardraw Force waterfall takes its name from it. The name of the hamlet is first recorded in 1606 as Hardrawe, and derives from Old English Herde and raw, which means the shepherd's houses.
