British Square, colloquially known as Britanac, is a public square in the city of Zagreb, Croatia. The Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb, commonly referred to as HNK Zagreb, is a theatre, opera, and ballet house in Zagreb. Located on the centre of Republic of Croatia Square, it is the oldest Croatian theatre institution, officially opening on 24 November 1860.
