The Ship is a historic public house on Saltburn Road in Saltburn-by-the-Sea, a seaside town in Redcar and Cleveland, England. The pub dates from the late 18th century and is the oldest in Saltburn, having formed part of the original fishing village before the later town was developed on the opposite side of Skelton Beck following the arrival of the railways. The Ship is situated 1,000 feet northwest of Coastguard Cottages.

Saltburn-by-the-Sea is a seaside town in North Yorkshire, 12 miles east of Middlesbrough. It was a tiny fishing village until the 1860s when ironstone mining got started, and it was laid out as a resort and mineworkers' village on a grid pattern.
