With a capacity of 24,121, it has been the home ground of Huddersfield Town Association Football Club and Huddersfield Giants Rugby League Football Club, both of whom moved from Leeds Road since 1994. Kirklees Stadium is situated 3,100 feet east of Huddersfield Viaduct.
