Martuni, is a town in the Martuni Municipality of the Gegharkunik Province of Armenia, located on the southern shores of Lake Sevan. As of the 2011 census, the town had a population of 12,894.

South of Nerkin Getashen lies Verin Getashen, founded 1828-29 by migrants from Mush and Alashkert, in present-day Eastern Turkey. Nerkin Getashen is situated 3 km west of Շատրվան.
