Allentsteig is a municipality in the district of Zwettl, in Lower Austria, Austria. Just outside Allentsteig there is a German World War II cemetery with almost 3,900 graves.

Edelbach since 1 January 1964 is a cadastral community of Allentsteig in Lower Austria, Austria. It has an area of 742.06 hectares. In order to create the Döllersheim military training place, the inhabitants were resettled from 1938 onwards. Edelbach is situated 7 km southeast of Ortskapelle.
