Lower Austria
Lower Austria is one of the nine states of Austria, located in the northeastern corner of the country. Major cities are Amstetten, Krems an der Donau, Wiener Neustadt and Sankt Pölten, which has been the capital of Lower Austria since 1986, replacing Vienna, which became a separate state in 1921.| Tap on a place to explore it |

St. Pölten

St. Pölten is a city with about 55,000 inhabitants in Lower Austria between the Bohemian Massif and the Türnitz Alps. Many people consider St. Pölten to be a city of low touristic interest.
Wiener Neustadt

Wiener Neustadt is a city and Vienna suburb in Lower Austria. For travellers the city might be a starting point to explore the southern parts of Greater Vienna: to the west there are the foothills of the Alps, to the east Neusiedler See and Hungary are not far away, and to the north central Vienna.

Klosterneuburg is a town in the Tulln District of the Austrian state of Lower Austria. Frequently abbreviated to Kloburg by locals, it has a population of about 27,500.

Mödling is the capital of the Austrian district of the same name located approximately 15 km south of Vienna. Mödling lies in Lower Austria's industrial zone.
Semmering

Semmering is an alpine pass connecting Lower Austria and Styria. The Semmering railway is a UNESCO world heritage site as it is the first high alpine mountain railway.
Perchtoldsdorf
