The Filmoteca Española is an official institution of the Spanish Ministry of Culture. Its objective is to restore, investigate and conserve the film heritage of Spain and its diffusion. It is part of the Institute of Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts.

The Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía is Spain's national museum of 20th-century art. The museum was officially inaugurated on September 10, 1992, and is named for Queen Sofía. Museum Reina Sofía is situated 590 metres southeast of Lamiak.

Antón Martín is a station on Line 1 of the Madrid Metro. It is located in Fare Zone A and has been open to the public since 26 December 1921. The station is named for Antón Martín of the Knights Hospitaller, who founded the nearby Hospital de San Juan de Dios.
