The Ayer Itam War Memorial Park is a war memorial in George Town within the Malaysian state of Penang. Located at the suburb of Ayer Itam, the memorial commemorates the local Chinese who lost their lives during the Second Sino-Japanese War and the subsequent Japanese occupation of Malaya.

The Kek Lok Si Temple is a Buddhist temple in George Town in the Malaysian state of Penang. Located at Ayer Itam, it is the largest Buddhist temple in Malaysia and an important pilgrimage centre for Buddhists from Hong Kong, the Philippines, Singapore and other parts of Southeast Asia. Kek Lok Si Temple is situated 1¼ km southwest of Air Itam Roundabout.
