It is situated on the slopes of Songnisan, within Songnisan National Park, in Naesongni-myeon, Boeun County, in the province of North Chungcheong Province, South Korea. Beopjusa Temple is situated 230 metres northeast of Palsangjeon Wooden Pagoda of Beopjusa Temple.
