Democracy Square is a road junction and public space in the Tres Cruces neighbourhood of Montevideo, Uruguay. The square connects Italy Avenue, Artigas Boulevard and 8 de Octubre Avenue, which are three of the most important thoroughfares in the city, due to the large amount of traffic they receive as they are different entrance routes to the central business district. Democracy Square is situated 160 metres west of Médica Uruguaya.
