Salses-le-Château or just Salses is a commune in the Pyrénées-Orientales department in southern France. It is located north of the city of Perpignan. It is traditionally considered as the northernmost point of the Catalan Countries. Salses-le-Château is situated 4½ km southwest of Font Estramar.
