Merchant Taylors’ School, Northwood

Merchant Taylors' School is an 11–18 boys' public day school, founded in 1561 in London. The school has occupied various campuses. Since 1933 it has been at Sandy Lodge, a 285 acres site close to Northwood in the Three Rivers district of Hertfordshire. Croxley Common Moor is a 39.5-hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest and Local Nature Reserve in Croxley Green, Hertfordshire. It is owned by Three Rivers District Council and managed by the council together with the Countryside Management Service and the Friends of Croxley Common Moor. Croxley Common Moor is situated 2,500 feet northwest of Reserve Lake.
