Rockheim

Rockheim is Norway's national museum for popular music from the 1950s to the present. It is a division of Museene i Sør-Trøndelag and is housed in a former grain warehouse in Trondheim. Rockheim is situated 350 metres south of Pirsenteret.

Located at Brattøra in the north part of the city centre, it is the terminus of the Dovre Line, running southwards, and the Nordland Line, which runs north. It is built over the burial site of King Olav II, who became the patron saint of the nation, and is the traditional location for the consecration of new Norwegian monarchs.
