European Southern Observatory

The European Organisation for Astronomical Research in the Southern Hemisphere, commonly referred to as the European Southern Observatory, is an intergovernmental research organisation made up of 16 member states for ground-based astronomy.

Parque Bicentenario

The Bicentenario Park, is one of the largest parks of the city of Santiago, Chile. The park was designed by the Chilean architect Teodoro Fernández after winning the official design competition in 1998, and the first phase opened its doors in 2007. Parque Bicentenario is situated 170 metres southwest of European Southern Observatory.
