Averau is the highest mountain of the Nuvolau Group in the Dolomites, located in the Province of Belluno, northern Italy. It lies between the Falzarego Pass and the Giau Pass.

The Falzarego Pass is a high mountain pass in the province of Belluno in Italy. It mainly connects the territory of Agordo and Cortina d'Ampezzo. From the pass, starts also SP24 directed northbound to Val Badia passing below Sass de Stria and through Valparola Pass.

Livinallongo del Col di Lana is a comune in the Province of Belluno in the Italian region Veneto, located about 120 kilometres north of Venice and about 45 kilometres northwest of Belluno. Ninety percent of the population speak Ladin as their native language.
