Għar Dalam is a 144-metre long phreatic tube and cave, located in the outskirts of Birżebbuġa, Malta. The cave contains the bones of animals that lived on Malta during the Pleistocene and Holocene epochs. Għar Dalam is situated 2½ km east of Ta’ Ġawhar Tower.

The Xarolla Windmill at Żurrieq, Malta is one of the windmills constructed by the Order of St. John in the villages and towns of Malta. It was built in the 18th century and is presently one of the most preserved windmills in Malta. Xarolla Windmill is situated 1½ km west of Ta’ Ġawhar Tower.

The formation of the village, as known today, goes back to the Punic-Roman period: the Ta' Ġawhar Tower, a round Punic-Roman tower in the village, was probably built at the time of the Punic Wars.
