Located within Suttons Bay Township, the community lies upon the shore of the eponymous Suttons Bay, a smaller inlet of Grand Traverse Bay, a bay of Lake Michigan. Suttons Bay is situated 3 miles east of Lake Leelanau Baseball Diamond.
