Persepolis is a historical site 60 km north of Shiraz, in Fars province. It was the ceremonial capital of the Achaemenid Empire, inscribed in the UNESCO list in 1979.

The Tachara, or the Tachar Château, also referred to as the Palace of Darius the Great, was the exclusive building of Darius I at Persepolis, Iran. It is located 70 km northeast of the modern city of Shiraz in Fars province. Palace of Darius I. is situated 170 metres southwest of Hall of 100 Columns.

The Gate of All Nations, also known as the Gate of Xerxes, is located in the ruins of the ancient city of Persepolis, Iran. The construction of the Stairs of All Nations and the Gate of All Nations was ordered by the Achaemenid king Xerxes I, the successor of the founder of Persepolis, Darius I the Great. The Gate of All Nations is situated 210 metres northwest of Hall of 100 Columns.
