Town
Dongjin is a town of Xiangzhou District, Xiangyang, Hubei, People's Republic of China, located in the eastern suburbs of the city and on the eastern bank of the Han River. As of 2011, it has one residential community and 53 villages under its administration. Dongjin is situated 4½ km southeast of Yuliangzhou Shuishang Police Station.

Xiangyang, which was called Xiangfan, is a city in Hubei Province. It is comprised of two halves, Xiangyang and Fancheng. It is best known for being the site of an important battle between the Southern Song Dynasty and the Mongol Empire, which the Mongols won decisively, following which they were shortly able to conquer all of China.
