Taiping Aerodrome is an aerodrome in Taiping, Larut, Matang and Selama, Perak, Malaysia. It is located at Jalan Muzaffar Shah formerly Creagh Road, Assam Kumbang and also called Tekah Airstrip.

The Kamunting railway station is a Malaysian train station located at and named after the town of Kamunting, Perak. Kamunting was also the southern terminus of the KTM Komuter Northern Sector before it was moved to Padang Rengas in July 2016 and subsequently Ipoh in 2023. Kamunting is situated 1¼ km northwest of Padang Kampung Pinang.

Malaysia's first railway station was situated in Taiping and was opened in 1885 when the Taiping-Port Weld Railway Line, Malaysia's first, was opened. During the Malayan Emergency between 1948 and 1960, Kamunting was the site of a major British/Commonwealth military base, there being a large garrison for the 28th Commonwealth Independent Infantry Brigade and also one of the three British Military Hospitals in Malaya.
