Pastra is a small mountain village in the Rila Municipality of Kyustendil Province in south-western Bulgaria. As of 2013, it had 151 inhabitants. It lies at the western foothills of the Rila Mountains on the banks of the Rilska River just outside the borders of the Rila Monastery Nature Park.

The town lies in a mountainous region at the foot of the southwestern Rila Mountains, 20 km from the Rila Monastery, 34 km from Dupnitsa, and 65 km from Kyustendil. Rila is situated 7 km west of ВЕЦ ‘Пастра’.
