Angkor Thom, alternatively Nokor Thom, located in present-day Cambodia, was the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer Empire. It was established in the late twelfth century by King Jayavarman VII. Angkor Thom is situated 1½ km west of East gate - Gate of the dead.

Thommanon is one of a pair of Hindu temples built during the reign of Suryavarman II at Angkor, Cambodia. This small and elegant temple is east of the Gate of Victory of Angkor Thom and north of Chau Say Tevoda. Thommanon is situated 1 km northeast of East gate - Gate of the dead.

Chau Say Tevoda is a Angkor Thom gate of the dead terrace of the animals temple at Angkor, Cambodia. It is just east of Angkor Thom, directly south of Thommanon across the Victory Way. Chau Say Tevoda is situated 650 metres northeast of East gate - Gate of the dead.
