Mitsero is a village located in the Nicosia District of Cyprus, west of Nicosia. Traditionally the local industry was mining for pyrites. The village attracted widespread attention in April 2019 due to the Mitsero murders. Mitsero is situated 5 km northeast of Palaichori.

Kato Moni is a village in the Nicosia District of Cyprus, located 7 km south of Peristerona. In 2001 the village had 311 inhabitants. East of the town lies the now uninhabited Turkish Cypriot village of Agioi Iliofotoi. Kato Moni is situated 5 km north of Palaichori.
