Komi Kebir is a village under the de facto control of Northern Cyprus, claimed by Cyprus. It is located on the Karpas Peninsula, 33 kilometres north of Famagusta, and at an altitude of 90 metres. Komi Kebir is situated 3½ km southeast of Aloupos.

Karpaz is a slender, 80-km long peninsula in the northeast of Northern Cyprus. It's mostly rugged and thinly populated: there are hotels, but on nothing like the scale of the Kyrenia or Turkish mainland tourist strips. In 2023 the population was 20,245. Kaplıca is situated 6 km west of Aloupos.
