Cemetery
The Makedonitissa Tomb is a military cemetery and war memorial west of Nicosia, at Engomi in the area of Makedonitissa. This is the location where one Greek Nord Noratlas was shot down by friendly fire on 22 July 1974, during Operation "Niki". Makedonitissas Tomb is situated 3½ km south of Mantroudia.

The "Imprisoned Graves" are a set of graves in a small cemetery located in the Central Jail of Nicosia, where 13 EOKA fighters killed during the Cyprus Emergency were interred. The Imprisoned Graves is situated 3½ km east of Mantroudia.
