Lawyacado is a town in the Awdal region of Somaliland. It is situated on the border with Djibouti. The town across the border in Djibouti is Loyada, a name derived from the Afar language, which when rewritten in Somali style becomes Lawyacado. Lawyacado is situated 4½ km west of Ras Gumarlah.

Loyada is a small town in Djibouti. Located in the Arta Region, it is the only official border crossing from Djibouti into Somaliland. It is situated on the west coast of Gulf of Aden, 25 kilometres from the capital, Djibouti. Loyada is situated 5 km west of Ras Gumarlah.
