Orounta
Orounta is a village located in the Nicosia District of Cyprus, west of Nicosia, near Peristerona. It was the birthplace of the Saint Martyr Saint Philoumenos, who was the Guardian of Jacob's Well, in the West Bank, where he was killed after the assailant threw grenades into the Church of Saint Photini and attacked him with an axe.| Tap on a place to explore it |

Peristerona

Peristerona is a large village about 32 kilometres west of the capital Nicosia, on the foothills of the Troodos Mountain range in the Morphou basin. It is built on the west bank of the river that bears the same name, which is a tributary of the river Serrachis, at an average altitude of 250 meters. Peristerona is situated 3½ km north of Orounta.
Kato Moni
Village
Kato Moni is a village in the Nicosia District of Cyprus, located 7 km south of Peristerona. In 2001 the village had 311 inhabitants. East of the town lies the now uninhabited Turkish Cypriot village of Agioi Iliofotoi. Kato Moni is situated 4½ km south of Orounta.

Akaki is a village in the Nicosia District of Cyprus. In 2016 a major find was made of a 36 ft x 13 ft mosaic floor of a Roman villa depicting horse races in a hippodrome from a 4th c. AD villa. Akaki is situated 5 km northeast of Orounta.
