Damerjog or Damerdjog is a village located in eastern Djibouti, populated by farmers and gardeners, located in the Arta Region, 16 kilometres southeast of the capital Djibouti, north of the border with Somaliland.

Balbala is a southern suburb of Djibouti City, located west of the river Ambouli. The name is from the "Flashing" from the nearby lighthouse. The suburb has formed since 1966 when access to the city was restricted. Balbala is situated 9 km northwest of Toûrka Damêrdjôg.
