Bkerké is the episcopal see of the Maronite Catholic Patriarchate of Antioch of the Maronite Church in Lebanon, located 350 m above the bay of Jounieh, northeast of Beirut, in Lebanon.

The Jeita Grotto is a system of two separate, but interconnected, karstic limestone caves spanning an overall length of nearly 9 kilometres. The caves are situated in the Nahr al-Kalb river valley within the locality of Jeita, 18 kilometres north of the Lebanese capital Beirut. Lower Grotto is situated 3½ km southeast of Haret el Mîr.
