Dahr El Maghara is a small Lebanese Christian village that is located, about 20 km south of Beirut in the Chouf region of Mount Lebanon. The village is mainly home to the Dagher family, although new construction around the area has led to numerous other families calling the village home.

Barja is a town and municipality in the Chouf District of the Mount Lebanon Governorate in Lebanon. Barja is situated near the Mediterranean coast, 34 kilometers south of Beirut and at the midway point between the latter and Sidon. Barja is situated 3½ km south of Mghâret el Hamâm.
