Qurnat as Sawdā is the highest point in Lebanon and the Levant, at 3,088 m above sea level. It is the summit of Jabal al Makmel, a mountain range in Bsharri, North Lebanon. Qurnat as Sawda’ is situated 3 km west of Al Waţā’.
